Bob has been part of the Equitable team since September of 2019. He has been participating in the PDM program since February 2024 and is a financial advisor with Blue Ridge Financial Partners in Roanoke, VA. Bob enjoys mentoring new advisors to ensure their success.
Bob enjoys working with teachers and individuals to help them achieve their retirement goals. He currently holds FINRA series 7, 24, and 66 registrations and his Life & Health licenses. He is currently enrolled with the American College and is studying for his CFP® certification. He plans to sit for the CFP® exam in November of 2025.
Bob is a combat veteran who retired from the Army in 2013. He will leverage his leadership experience in the military to build a successful team and be an effective District Manager.
Bob is an active member of the Radford VFW Post 776 and enjoys working with other veterans to serve the local community. He is also a member of Team Rubicon, an organization that assists in disaster clean-up, and has participated in numerous missions throughout the Roanoke and New River Valley. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his actions in Fallujah, Iraq, in 2004. Bob graduated Magna Cum Laude from Radford University in 2021 with a B.B.A. in Finance.
Bob and his wife, Bethany, live in Roanoke, VA. He is an avid hockey fan and a sponsor of the Roanoke Railyard Dawgs. He enjoys hiking, white water rafting, and traveling.
